Design and fabricate a pair of Rancho anthropomorphic manipulator arms

The basic design features of the Rancho Anthropomorphic Manipulator (RAM), bilateral manipulator system are reported. In contrast with other previous electrically powered manipulators, the RAM features increased payload capability, structural integrity, position control, and the ability to interchange its own terminal devices.
